904059 Ontario Limited O/A Canada Best Value Inn Toronto has immediate opening for an Accommodations Supervisor (TEER 2: 62022) at our location in Etobicoke, Ontario

As an Accommodations Supervisor (TEER 2: 62022), you will perform some or all the following duties:

• Coordinate, assign and review the work of hotel/ motel services clerks, and other staff;
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance.
• Make sure that computer systems, machinery, and equipment run smoothly and schedule maintenance and repairs.
• Hire and teach employees on job responsibilities, safety procedures, and corporate policies.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work units or departments
• May carry out the same tasks as employees under supervision
• Solve work-related issues and create and submit reports on progress and other matters.
• Requisition supplies and materials
• Communicate effectively with front desk staff to ensure smooth check-ins and check-outs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities.
Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is usually required.
• Completion of college courses related to the area supervised or 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience on the position is required
• Must be available for multiple locations
• Must have driving license
Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time (35 hours/week)
Compensation: $ 36.10/hour
