Accommodation Services Manager
Canada’s Best Value Inn, located at 9705 Alaska Road, Fort St. John, BC V1J 1A4, is seeking two Accommodation Services Managers. These are year-round, full–time positions. We are committed to providing 24-hour service as part of our commitment to making our guests’ visits as pleasant and comfortable as possible.
The Accommodation Services Managers will perform the following duties:
The right candidate will negotiate procurements with current and potential vendors, implement and ensure that all policies and procedures and followed, recruit and supervise staff, oversee training and set work schedules, will work closely with the motel owner to develop promotional strategies, ensure that the guest’s overall experience during their stay in the motel meets their expectations in terms of cleanness and comfort, resolve guests’ complaints.
Skills Requirement and Experience:
A university degree or college diploma in hotel management or another related discipline is preferred; however, a minimum of 2 years of experience within the accommodation industry may substitute formal educational requirements
Possesses good communication skills and the ability to work flexible hours that may include weekends and holidays.
We are offering $37.50/hr, 40 hours/week.
