Job Description:
We are seeking skilled counsellor to join our team on a project-based basis. You will assist in editing and refining written materials for school applications, ensuring they are clear, engaging, and tailored to the specific institution.
1. Student Advising:
Meet with students to discuss academic progress, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Assist in selecting appropriate courses and programs based on students’ abilities and goals.
Provide information about graduation requirements, university prerequisites, and scholarship opportunities.
2. Postsecondary Planning:
Guide students through college/university application processes, including essay writing, interview preparation, and documentation.
Advise on course selection, standardized testing (e.g., SAT, ACT, AP, IB) and study plans.
Support students in exploring career options related to their academic paths.
3. Academic Support:
Monitor students’ grades and intervene early when academic difficulties arise.
Coordinate tutoring or study skills workshops.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create individualized education plans.
4. Teaching Duties:
Strong English proficiency to provide effective essay tutoring, interview training, and English reading/writing support when needed.

Job Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
Strong understanding of Canadian and US educational systems (secondary and post-secondary).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
