7304 - Printing Press Operator Job

- Examine job orders to ascertain task parameters, including necessary quantities, color
sequence, and production time, and inform the press crew of these details.
- Install plates or cylinders and make the required modifications.
- Fill ink fountains with ink, measure, modify, and choose settings to regulate viscosity and
color.
- Press the setup button and examine samples for registration, alignment, and ink
coverage.
- Using a computer control console, check the quality and uniformity of routine press runs
and make any necessary modifications.
- After the press cycle, remove and clean the plates and cylinders.
- Oversee press crew operations and make sure safety protocols are followed
