Job Description:
Test cases planning including reviews/analysis of feature specifications, test documents
Investigate device & network technical issues utilizing device and network tools.
Perform inter-operability testing on LTE and 5G network interfaces such as s1ap, s1u, CPRI, x2ap using NOKIA Network elements.
Testing of small cells for technologies such as 4G, 5G SA, 5G NSA to assure inter-operability with other network vendors
Exposure to 5G infrastructure vendor (Nokia, Verizon) and working with 4G/5G handset OEM client: Qualcomm.
Testing and troubleshooting of the Radio Access Network (RAN) interface using tools such as QXDM, QCAT, PCAT, BTSlog, Wireshark
Perform protocol testing on GTP, GTPV2, Diameter, ngap, http2, Xnap etc for integration of nokia network elements.
Using 3GPP standards as reference to perform and complete test cases specified in network vendor documentation
Perform Software upgrade of small cells, 4G and 5G radios, BTS configuration.
Install, commission and integrate Nokia5G gNB and 4G eNB in test environments both remote and in Nokia Labs
Fault investigation/reporting of found issues during testing fin early resolution with close cooperation with R&D and other internal teams
Provide Deep analysis of NW and Device logs for troubleshooting and familiarization with the logging tools, processes and methods linked to the role (QXDM, Wireshark (5G and 4G), EMIL, SYSLogs, Sherpa etc)
