Nunez Construction Corp is looking for (4) permanent F/T Carpenters for its busy construction company to work in the residential industry, in its operations in Calgary and its surrounding areas, in the province of Alberta.

We require candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as a skilled carpenter (less experience will be considered upon demonstration of skills), completion of high school, and some industry courses would be an asset. The company is looking for committed and responsible carpenters willing to work shifts and overtime in a fast-paced industry. Must possess a clean criminal record. Language of work: English

Salary compensation: $36.00 /hr. for 30 hours per week.

Duties:

• Read and interpret drawings and sketches.
• Erect, install, maintain, and repair structures and components of structures made of wood, wood substitute, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Measure, cut, shape, and join different materials made of wood or other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, walls, and roof systems.
• Prepare layouts according to building codes.
• Follow instructions, comply with the work schedule, and the company’s policies
• Use of manual and power tools.
• May prepare cost estimates for clients
