Title of Position: 1 Barber
Terms of Employment: Full-time, year-round work

Duties:

• Provide suggestions to clients regarding current hairstyles and popular trends.
• Perform hair styling, cutting, and grooming services for clients of all ages.
• Ask clients about their hair care preferences and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Shampoo and provide hair treatments.
• Maintain and clean the assigned workstation, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure that sufficient items, such as clean wrap sheets and towels, are available on an ongoing basis.
• Manage front desk duties, such as scheduling appointments and processing payments.

• Completion of secondary education is required.
• Completion of a barber program. On-the-job training may be a substitute for formal education.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to work during weekends.

Wages: $18.50/hr. for 40 hrs. per week.
