Position: Delicatessen Supervisor

Benefit: 4% of gross salary OR 10 days paid vacation as a vacation reimbursement.

Job Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate deli clerks and retail sales staff.
• Assign duties and prepare work schedules.
• Monitor product displays, pricing, labelling, freshness and inventory levels.
• Order deli products, ingredients, packaging materials and supplies.
• Resolve customer complaints, product shortages and operational issues.
• Train staff and monitor employee performance.
• Prepare reports regarding sales, merchandising, inventory, product waste and personnel matters.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, food-handling and workplace safety procedures.

Skill Requirements:
Education & Experience:
Completion of secondary school is required.
A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience is required.
Language: Functional English language is required for this position.
