Position: Woodshop Manager
Working Hours: 40 hrs/week
Work Shift: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
Wage: $49.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
Benefit: Extended health benefits offered after 3 months of employment

Quality and Company is North America’s favorite supplier of fine commercial contract furniture for the hospitality market. We are currently looking for an experienced Woodshop Manager to integrate into our production team.
Main duties
• Overseeing all aspects of the shop operations including production process, scheduling, and personnel management
• Optimizing the use of wood materials, managing the workflow of craftsmen, and ensuring tools and equipment are utilized effectively to meet production goals
• Creating schedules for woodworking projects, tracking inventory levels of wood and other materials, and managing finished product inventory Manage the budget
• Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements or upgrades to woodworking equipment, implementing changes to production processes, and training employees on new methods or equipment
• Planning and managing the establishment of a departmental budget
• Recruiting, supervising, and providing training for woodworking craftsmen, ensuring they are skilled in the use of tools and equipment and are knowledgeable about woodworking techniques
• Planning and scheduling regular maintenance for woodworking tools and equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety, as well as assessing the need for replacing or upgrading machinery
• Any other duties that may be assigned

• 5+years of previous experience as a similar role is preferred
• Strong leadership, team player, exhibit a can-do attitude
• Communicate effectively and professionally
• Have ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
