We at Midas Auto Experts are currently seeking a dedicated Welder Helper to join our team. This is on a full-time and permanent basis. At this role, you will be responsible for assisting skilled welders in completing welding operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work order to understand fabrication requirements.
• Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other materials from surfaces or parts.
• Assist welders in assembling and installing parts.
• Clean work areas and equipment.
• Cut, grind or chip excess metal from metal products.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment and system for efficiency.
• Polish metal products and immerse them in cleaning solutions.
• Load, and unload materials and restock welding supplies.

Job Requirements

• No prior experience necessary; will provide comprehensive training.
• Flexibility to work variable hours and overtime as needed.
• Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
