Objective: As my resume shows I have completed the first year apprenticeship program and i am currently a 2nd year Insulator holding around 3.000 hours in the industrial insulation field.
I have worked for many different companies where i have handle a variety of tasks that included sheet metal layouts on construction sites, selecting and cutting the right insulation for industrial porpoises , handling the insulation installations for different kinds of pipes (huge and small), i also have and i am familiar with several tools that are related to the insulation industry.

Experience: Heat and Frost Insulator| September 2016– Recent Heat and Frost Insulator & Allied Workers, Local 110. Edmonton AB Worked as a second-year apprentice for local 110 in companies such as Suncor, Shell, Syncrude, Aluma, C.N.R.L and Air Products. Remove and repair thermal and acoustical insulation (e.g. calcium silicate, glass foam, mineral wool, fibreglass) on all types of commercial and industrial equipment (e.g. duct piping, heat exchangers, tanks, vessels). Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements, Select the amount and type of insulation to be installed as well as a method of securing the insulation according to the type and shape of surface, whether or not the equipment is cold or hot, inside or outside, and what the equipment is going to be used for, Measure, cut and fit insulating material and coverings to the required shape and dimension. Remove or seal old asbestos insulation.
Floorhand| January 2007– February 2016 Precision Drilling Corporation, Edmonton AB Worked as a Floorhand at Precision Drilling Corporation AC super tipple Rig # 546. Provided assistance in setting up and taking down drilling rig and equipment, handling, sorting and moving drill tools, pipe, cement and other materials in addition to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
