Objective: Community Services Group Chariots program provides a safe, nurturing environment for children and families in need of out of home therapeutic care. Children ranging from infants to age 21 are offered intensive and comprehensive care that meets their individual needs and provides support to the child, natural family, and treatment family.
We are currently recruiting for Foster Parents in our Chariots Program.
Foster parenting is one of the most challenging, yet rewarding tasks that you may undertake in your lifetime. At Chariots, our foster parents are valued members of our staff and provide a world of possibilities by opening their hearts and their homes.
Foster parents receive extensive and continuous training regarding effective strategies and tools to help a child succeed. Foster parents are also given staff support and work collectively with team members to provide each child individualized and specialized treatment.
Foster Parents must be at least 21 years of age; have a valid driver's license; complete 40 hours of training; obtain and maintain criminal background checks, criminal abuse clearances, and FBI background clearances; complete a home study evaluation; be compassionate, flexible, and committed to children; and be willing to work with the child's family.
