MQ-9 Avionics System Technician 2012–2017
Oversaw scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of 21 MQ-9 aircraft valued at $310M for the Air Force's largest Formal Training Unit,

supporting 731 aircrew graduates.
Employed analytical skills in the verification of repairs and inspections on avionics, flight controls, communication, and

navigation systems.
Facilitated the evaluation of methods in troubleshooting, inspecting, repairing, and operating integrated aircraft avionics systems

and supporting equipment.
Secured and properly maintained remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) deployment preparations and readiness to fulfill short-notice combat

tasking operations worldwide.
Managed the documentation of detailed descriptions of aircraft maintenance actions through aircraft paper forms and electronic

format within the integrated maintenance database system (IMDS).
Offered hands-on support to Army intelligence through contract maintenance to mitigate software issues and enable five of their

missions.
Enforced check-in and -out procedures, while scheduling inspections and repairs for 13,000 tools valued at $3.2M.

Notable Accomplishments:
Successfully completed two worldwide short notice/combat tasking for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) missions during Operation

Enduring Freedom and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel.
Fulfilled 1,800 maintenance actions within a seven-month period, while maintaining 100% quality assurance pass rate.
Demonstrated expertise in responding to multiple maintenance emergencies(red balls) within the Air Force’s largest Flying Training

Unit, which included:
Identification of navigation error and correction of fault through replacement of faulty embedded GPS inertial navigation system

(EGI);
Execution of gyro null to resolve multi-spectral targeting system (MTS) un-commanded slew; and
Troubleshooting and correction of aircraft/ground control station (GCS) link failure by isolating/replacing defective KU antenna.
Played an integral role in resolving a system power-up failure by examining a wiring diagram and identifying a broken and mislabeled

connection.
Brought significant savings of $3M in repair costs by troubleshooting a targeting pod upgrade and coordinating with field service

representative to modify a circuit board.
Collaborated with other field service representatives to install the first new classified components that increased intelligence,

surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities of sister service.

Crash/Recovery Team Member 2015
Served as first responder to aircraft inflight/ground emergencies for six unique aircraft models valued at $1B.
Worked in collaboration with the Fire Department to prevent aircraft fire.
Held full responsibility in reporting remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) ground emergency to properly respond to emergencies.

Notable Accomplishment:
Promptly responded to 28 ground/in-flight emergencies ensuring 46,000 combined flight hours for the German Air Force and the United

States Air Force.
