Pipe and Submerged Arc Welder/Fitter
Fabricated custom pipe assemblies of various sizes, wall thicknesses, and metallurgical composites. Tig, mig, stick, and submerged arc welded for the construction of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, separators, pig launchers, steam generators, and pipe banks.

Rig welder subcontractor for companies such as IDE, Brown & Root, and Halliburton where I weld pipe and structure for the manufacturing of mobile land rigs, semi-submersible rigs, and for rig modifications and refurbishments. Submerged arc weld three to five inch thick wall pipe for offshore pipe casing and male/female connectors to the ends of casing for deepwater wells. Flux core and stick weld support trusses and male/female locks for the manufacturing of floats. Mig weld build-up jobs for repairing and remachining auto, diesel, and construction equipment parts. All-purpose welding (SMAW) and light fabrication on high rise construction projects by welding stairs, handrails, catwalks, schedule 60 and 80 pipe, and safety equipment such as fences and gates. Flux core and mig weld girders and crossmembers on bridges for trains and pedestrian traffic. Pipe weld and do utility service on water and natural gas mains.

Structural and Pipe Welder/Assembler
Mig welded and assembled the components that make up a railcar’s braking and safety systems. Installed regulators to regulate the air pressure applied to a railcar’s brakes, and welded safety ladders and handrails to the railcar’s outer skin. Flux core welded pads to the inner tanks that reinforce and make a breach unlikely in the event of derailment.
