navigational radios.

Thoroughly perform dissemination,
creation, processing, and organization
of aeronautical, meteorological, and
procedural information into the NAS
notices to Airmen (NOTAM) main database
system through Federal Aviation
Administration’s E-NOTAM II and AISR
software.

Broaden knowledge of pilots on operating
procedures associated with various
planned and unplanned events; such as
NASCAR races, rocket launches,
demolition areas, gas venting areas,
high-density pilot activity areas,
aerobatic airspaces, special use
airspace (SUA), military operations area
(MOA), restricted airspace, prohibited
airspace, and warning areas to support
air shows, aviation conventions, and
other aviation events.

Provide necessary data on aircrafts that
would penetrate the Air Defense
Identification Zone (ADIZ) of the
contiguous United States border;
including pilot’s name, aircraft
registration, aircraft type, air defense
expected penetrating point, and number
of passengers to the Department of
Homeland Security (DHS-Customs & Boarder
Protection Agency) and North American
Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD).

Utilize Lockheed Martin’s Flight Scape
software in documenting domestic and
international flight plans, which
include visual flight rules-VFR,
instrument flight rules-IFR, and
defense-VFR.

Assess and check flight plans from the
database or from third-party vendors
including Direct User Access Terminal
Services (DUATS).

Apply extensive knowledge in utilizing
aviation phraseology, terminology, and
radio communications.

Demonstrate exceptional leadership
abilities in training new employees as
well as other employees to maintain
