Experience:
Logistician, US Army, Joint Base Lewis McCord, WA,
2013.
Senior manager for logistics, transportation, and
equipment operations for a 770 member
organization. Managed a $3.7 million annual budget
and $237,861,607.45 of equipment. My work led to
the equipment that was in disrepair from operations in
Afghanistan being RESET for 60% less than originally
forecasted costs. My attention to detail led to being
the first Environmental Compliance Officer (ECO) to
bring the organization into compliance since 2011.

Overseas Logistics Operations Manager, US Army,
Panjwai District, Afghanistan, 2012.
Senior manager for logistics, service contracts,
procurement contracts, transportation, and equipment
operations for a 1,550 person organization (1,100
soldiers and 450 civilians). Managed my organization’s
multi-billion dollar operational budget. Managed a
$20 million a month contracting budget, for
everything from construction to dining facility
contracts. Responsible for just under $1 billion of
equipment and property in the most fast paced,
dynamic operational tempo area in Afghanistan. My
utilization of competition in the market reduced the
cost for contracts by 30%.

Planned, resourced, and supervised operations
conducted by my 48 person working group. The
group’s responsibilities included construction of
government facilities and infrastructure, operational
security, selling Afghanis on NATO presence,
providing health care services, agricultural
development, supply transportation and distribution
operations, public relations, and property
accountability operations. My working group
spearheaded the operations that earned my larger
organization the Presidential Unit Citation. All of that
was accomplished while managing my subordinate’s
payroll, housing, food, vacation time, general health,
logistical needs, and the $34 million of equipment.

Team Leader for Health Care Specialists, US Army,
Joint Base Lewis McChord WA, 2007 – 2009.
Team leader for 12 to 24 health care specialists that
were tasked with the complete health and medical
supply operations for a 650 person organization. The
responsibilities included managing the health care
specialists, the $28 million of equipment, and making
sure all health care needs for the larger organization
were successfully met. My efforts as directly
contributed to my team being 1 of the 5 teams to
score a 100% on the Army Medical Command
evaluations out of the 160 teams evaluated.

Overseas Team Leader for Health Care Specialists, US
Army, Baghdad, Iraq, 2006 – 2007.
Team leader of 6 health care specialists that
comprised the ground medical evacuation team. The
responsibilities included managing the health care
specialists’ housing, training, payroll, food, general
health, the $14 million of equipment, and making
sure all health care needs so the larger organization
could thrive. My efforts lead to the successful ground
evacuation of 48% of all casualties in the greater
Baghdad area and every wounded soldier that came to
me alive stayed that way.

Overseas Team Leader for Health Care Specialists, US
Army, Gahzni, Afghanistan, 2004 – 2006.
Team leader of 6 health care specialists that
comprised the ground medical evacuation team. The
responsibilities included managing the health care
specialists’ housing, training, payroll, food, general
health, the $400 thousand of equipment, and making
sure all health care needs for the larger organization
were successfully met. My efforts lead to all casualties
my team evacuated from combat surviving.

Overseas Team Leader for Health Care Specialists, US
Army, Busan, Republic of Korea, 2003 – 2004.
Team leader of 4 health care specialists that
comprised the ground medical evacuation team. The
responsibilities included managing the health care
specialists, the $400 thousand of equipment, and
making sure all health care needs for the larger
organization were successfully met. My efforts
contributed to 100% of the larger 150 person
organization meeting the Emergency Medical
Technician standards set out by the US Army.

MANAGEMENT Ability to analyze budget, manpower,

managed the construction 5 Forward Operating Bases,
as well as projects the range from new office buildings
to new barracks, from new water wells to new dining
facilities, from reinforced concrete bunkers to
reinforced culverts for roads. I have managed the
movement, logistics, and RESET of 770 soldiers and
$237,861,607.45 of equipment in 2013.

CONTRACTING Initiating, monitoring, and terminating
contracts for goods and services. Initially trained as a
Contract Officer Representative in 2010 to maintain a
700 person Forward Operating Base. In 2012 I was the
Battalion Contracting Officer for over $240 million in
contracts to maintain seven different Forward
Operating Bases for 1,550 people. The contracts were
for construction, medical care, facility management,
vehicle repair, waste removal, dining facility
operation, heavy equipment operation, private
security, translator services, and environmental
compliance.

LOGISTICS As an Army Logistician I balanced the
logistics that includes construction materials, food,
water (both potable and non-potable), clothes,
shelters, munitions, vehicles, fuel, generators,
electronics, office supplies, computers, medical
supplies, and gym equipment, to help the
organization accomplish the mission. I balanced these
requirements in the highest operational tempo
environment the US Army currently is in.

RESET Personally accountable for taking the over
200 million dollars of equipment that was in disrepair
and getting it back to as new condition for 60% less
than original forecasted costs.

TRAINING Having mastered how to train anybody on
any subject if given the proper time and resources; I
have trained over fifty Army leaders in the proper
ways to account for, use and maintain their
equipment; I have trained hundreds of infantrymen in
the tactics and techniques of war; and I have trained
thousands of health care specialists and first
responders in the procedures to save lives.
