Experience: 2011- Current, Self Employed Tree Service Removal
I cut away dead or excess branches from trees or shrubs to maintain right-of-way for roads, sidewalks, or utilities, or to improve appearance, health and value of tree. I prune or treated trees or shrubs using handsaws, pruning hooks, sheers and clippers. I used truck mounted lifts and power pruners: Collected debris and refuse from tree trimming and removal operations into piles, using shovels, rakes and other tools.
2006-2011, Custom Welder Fabricator Wessels
I divided up parts, cut metal with plasma cutters and torches and read blueprints, drilled holes, sharpened, shined, and delivered metal with forklifts. I built pressure tanks by reading the blue prints.
2004-2006, Machinist Cummins
I made upper and lower plungers for fuel injectors. I studied blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces and setup requirements.
2001-2004, Carpenter Studer Construction
I worked with materials such as wood, plastic, fibreglass and drywall. I utilized chisels, planes, saws, drills and sanders to repair and erect structures. I joined materials with nails, screws, staples and adhesives. I worked on top of stilts and ladders. I created structures for pouring concrete. I erected scaffolding and worked with prefabricated buildings. I used levels, tape measures, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything was level and secure.
1992-2001, Welder Arvin Automotive
I welded exhaust systems for Chrysler and Mazda Vehicles: Welded spare parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical or over-head, etc. igniting flame or striking an arch while welding or performing other electricity-related work to weld parts of a metal structure. I made sure the correct parts were welded and arranged in order before final assembly of the product.

Skills: I have over fifteen years of professional work experience in Mig welding, reading blue prints, and operating a torch, plasma, grinders and forklifts.
