Operate jackhammers and drills to break up concrete and pavement
Measure, mark, and record openings and distances to layout areas where work will be performed
Clean and prepare sites to eliminate possible hazards
Dig ditches and trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes
Position and dismantle forms for pouring concrete, utilizing saws, hammers, nails, and bolts
Load, unload, and identify building materials, machinery, and tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans and specifications
Provide assistance to craft workers
Mix, pour, and spread concrete, utilizing portable cement mixer
Smooth or finish freshly poured cement or concrete, utilizing floats, trowels, screeds, or powered cement finishing tools
Erect or dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures
Apply caulking compounds by hand use of caulking guns to protect against entry of water or air
Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, and stucco through hoses to clean, coat, and seal surfaces
Install sewer, water, and storm drain pipes
Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering and cleaning surfaces
