Vicki is a 1984 graduate of Stetson University and holds a BA in Elementary Education. She is certified in Virginia and Florida to teach preschool through sixth grade. She also holds several handicapped endorsement to teach preschool-12th grade in Florida. From January to July of 2002, Vicki was the part-time Director of Children’s Ministries at Kempsville Church of Christ. She received a Master of Education degree from Regent University in May of 2004. She taught trainable mentally handicapped students for 5 years at Switzerland Point Middle School, Jacksonville, FL. Vicki had to take 1 ˝ years off to be a stay-at-home mom caring for our son, Jordan. During that time she was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. She is doing very well now.
Vicki taught regular and special education in the public schools for 10 years in Bradenton, Florida and 3 years in Virginia Beach, VA. Having majored in Elementary Education and minored in religion at Stetson University, Vicki was working towards being a missionary. She has served summers as a missionary in Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Florida. She also served 13 weeks of foreign missions in Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium doing week-long Back Yard Bible Clubs at the American Air Force Bases in 10 major European cities.
Vicki is now back teaching trainable mentally handicapped middle school students at Switzerland Point Middle School.
