Objective: An experienced soccer player and coach, currently working toward a C license in order to expand my coaching skills. My experience in France has served as a strong foundation for promoting the sport in the US. My philosophy, which includes, the motivation with team cohesion, discipline and mental preparation is a good foundation of what I believe will make any players or organization successful.
Experience: Coaching Experience: Head Soccer Coach June 2009 to present Alexandria Soccer Association, Alexandria, VA Providing trainings year-round for four U12 Boys’ Teams. The trainings are based on USSF training design requirements and cover all four pillars for proper soccer development, including technique, tactics, Physical and Psychological. Going to tournaments, organizing many events to make sure the players have fun (camping trips, professional games, holiday parties). Challenging players to stay motivated so they are always looking forward to playing and training. Also organized an annual festival as a fundraising event for the club. Middle School Soccer Coach August 2005 to present Browne Academy, Alexandria, VA Coaching boys and girls, from K-8, year-round. Introducing soccer to children, allowing each student to experience it. Team spirit, sportsmanship, and representing the school positively while having fun are encouraged. Soccer Instructor June 2005 - August 2006 Headfirst, Bethesda, MD Created soccer instructions and development for players ages 5 to 14, boys and girls. The camp allowed beginning and more advanced players to get a feel for professional training patterns. High School Soccer Coach February 2005 - April 2005 TC Williams High School, Alexandria, VA Conducted daily practices for 24 players on the boys soccer team as preparation for matches in the spring season. Although this is a short season of 10 weeks, practices were conducted on a daily basis with intense focus on technical and tactical topics.  Head Soccer Coach June 2001- December 2003 Omaha Football Club, NE Coached the Arsenal Select U15 Boys Team. Interfaced with other coaches, players and the Board of Directors to plan, promote and implement a Select Program within the Millard Star Soccer Association. Developed and conducted player clinics, effectively teaching, training and motivating players. Head Soccer Coach February 2000 - May 2001 Mercy High School, Omaha, NE Coached varsity girls team. Conducted daily practices for 18 players and prepared for matches in the spring season. The players were exposed to all four pillars of the game to complete their playing experience and prepare for possible college soccer. Head Coach and Player August 1992 - December 1993 Tampa Bay Soccer District, FL Coached and played with an adult select team. Directed training sessions and practices for a team of 20 adult players, including players from Europe, South America, Central America and the US. Assistant Coach and Player December 1983 - June 1986 Olympia Soccer Club, Nebraska Coached and played for Men Division 1 Nebraska State Champions. 1983-86. The program was designed to introduce soccer for adult players in the Midwest. A mix of advanced players and newer players, this was a great learning experience at all levels. Assistant Coach June 1976 – October 1981 Le Mans Football Club Academy, France Coached youth teams U14 boys. The Academy was based on the French system for training potential young professionals while continuing their school programs at the academy. Classes were conducted in the morning and soccer training in the afternoon.
