11/01 – 11/09 Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey, Morristown, New Jersey

Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Trainer- When I began at RMA my title was Clinical Assistant. I was promoted to Clinical Supervisor in 2003 and in 2007 the responsibility of training all Clinical and Phlebotomy staff was added to my job description. My supervisory/administrative responsibilities included: scheduling employees, staffing four offices, maintaining time and attendance records and delivering disciplinary actions and evaluations for approximately 20 employees. I spent a year working closely with LabCorp to develop a system that electronically submits lab results into RMA patient charts. I was also instrumental in coordinating the transition to a "team" format in all four RMA locations. Last year I spent time in Allentown, PA helping a new practice transition to the “RMA way” and I set up a new satellite office at Overlook Hospital. I was also responsible for writing and implementing all Clinical S.O.P’s (Standard Operating Procedures). Recently I have transitioned to an administrative position where I work closely with the physicians and nurses. I prepare patient paperwork and medical records and enter progress notes in the patient’s charts in an effort to allow the physician more time to spend with the patient. I enter and scan lab results alerting the physicians and nurses of panic levels. I work with insurance companies as a patient liaison attempting to get procedures paid for. I am currently transitioning the offices to a paperless system. My clinical duties include, but are not limited to assisting physicians with office procedures such as office Hysteroscopes, Cyst Aspirations, Culdocentesis (Tap), and Sonohysterograms, Intra-uterine Inseminations, Endometrial Biopsies, Chorionic Villi Sampling (CVS) and physical exams. I have also had training and experience in RMA's operating room.
