I've been doing landscaping for 5 consecutive summers. Frankly i love to be outside and to work hard.
I'm moving to BC at the end of April, and will be looking for work in the summer.

4/2006 - 9/2007 Personal Gardens
Landscape Construction Laborer
My main responsibilities were in the area of construction. We often worked from the ground up, demolishing, removing and then building.
We constructed interlock pathways/stairs/driveways/patios, retaining walls (stone and wood), wood deck/fences, laid sod, etc.
We also work with mulch, soil, limestone, sand, flagstone and beach pebble. Occasional enjoyed driving a Bobcat.
I also preformed occasional garden maintenance, trimming bush, pruning trees, cultivating bed etc.

Professional Landscaper

I worked summers as a landscaper between University.
The main part of the job was lawn care: cutting grass, edging flowerbeds, pruning and trimming plants, etc. Operating push, walk behind, and ride on lawnmowers; Hedge trimmers and grass trimmers.
We also did construction projects: Interlocking pathways and patios, creating raised gardens, working with railway ties, beach pebble walkways etc.
Last winter I did snow removal with them: shoveling walks, operating snow blowers, and salting.

I really loved the job. I enjoy working outside, and working my hands. I also found it particularly rewarding to see the final results of my hard work.

I cleaned, bagged and shelved car batteries on Saturdays.
I also loaded and unloaded trucks.
