Education: Completed High School and then I furthered my education by satisfactorily completing many managerial, supervisory, and technical schools and courses equivalent to bachelors during my 25 years with Department of Defense, US Navy Civil Service
Skills: My qualifications and skills are based on that which God has supplied through Christ by the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Spirit, the gifts of the Spirit, the inspiration of the Spirit coupled with my lifestyle as witnessed by my church and references below bring to any church and ministry that which is required to accomplish the objective above. My job skills acquired as: area manager with a portraiture fund raising company for 9 years; project manager with a master ship repair contractor for 4 years; and multiple diverse positions with Department of Defense U. S. Navy, Civil Service for 25 years; bring 38 years of work experience in diversified fields, in different positions and levels of responsibility, and with many job skills. I realize that these job skills pale in what is required to preach and teach for the honor and glory of God. That which is truly needed to carry out the office of an overseer, bishop, pastor or teacher is: the choosing; calling; anointing; filling; enabling and ordaining of God through Christ and by the Holy Spirit for each of these offices. I truly believe that God will provide all that I need to carry out this charge and that this will greatly benefit any church or ministry for the honor and glory of God
Additional Information: WHY ME: Why would I apply for a position to preach and teach at the age of 68 years old when I have absolutely no formal training, diplomas, or ordination papers? The answer, God’s unmistakable calling in the latter days of my life will not let me rest until I carry out the charge that is laid upon me. For over 4 years now I have faithfully by the grace of God dedicated a minimum of 3 hours daily in building a relationship with my Lord and Savior. My day starts with meeting him at 5am in the morning. This opens up with prayer, praise, thanks and his word. I immerse myself in 10 chapters of the word of God in a systematic bible reading program that includes: books of the law; history; books of poetry; major prophets; minor prophets; gospels; acts; epistles; and other areas as well. Then I go into my quiet time with him where listening for his still small voice is most important in guiding, leading and directing me throughout the day’s activities
