More than 35 years as a Firefighter, EMT, and Paramedic.

Firefighter in Municipalities such as Thornton, Glenwood, Dixmoor, Lansing, Markham all in Illinois. North Palos, Leyden and Holbrook Fire Protection Districts, again all in Illinois. The Edward Hines VA Medical Center, Hines Illinois.

Ambulance services I have been employed by include: Daley's Ambulance, Dolton, IL, Suburban Ambulance, LaGrange, IL, Vandenberg Ambulance, Amrican Medical Response of Illinois and Trace Ambulance, all of Tinley Park, IL, Martins' Ambulance of Manteno, Il, Kurtz Ambulance of New Lenox, IL and Precise Ambulance Service, LLC of Chicago Ridge, IL (present employer).

I was also employed by the Autobahn Country Club of Joliet, IL as a member of the Safety team,training both as firefighter/rescue, and as a flagger.


Education:
Graduate of Thomas Edison State College, Trenton NJ, with an Associate of Arts degree.

Awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree in Fire Science by the Western States University for Professional Studies in Doniphan, MO.


Skills:
Licensed by the Illinois Department of Public Health as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (expires June 30, 2015).
Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support and Core Disaster Life Support

Certified by the Illinois Fire Marshal as a Firefighter II and III, Fire Apparatus Engineer, Fire Officer I, Fire service Instructor I, II, & III, Hazardous Materials First Responder and Technician, Rescue Specialist, roadway Extrication.

Formerly certified by the Illinois Department of Transportation as an Emergency Rescue Technician. Program became the Roadway Extrication portion of Firefighter Certification.
