Objective:
My objective is to either join a team of professionals, training or managing a sales team, and/or by using my effective communication skills and my own unique talents, help raise the monthly figures of any organization.
Experience:
I was brought up in the jewelry business, as my father had a beautiful gift and jewelry store. My sales career began at that time and has not stopped. I am well organized, knowledgeable and confident in both my selling and managerial abilities. For seven years I worked as the Fine Jewelry Sales Manager for Jacobson's Dept. Store, both in Jax., Fl. and North Palm Beach, Fl. I pinpointed as well as planned many events that would increase monthly figures. My motivating and writing skills are also highly effective.
Education:
1978-I attended Florida Junior College.
1979-I attended Mercer University and rec'd. Associates Degree
2003-Graduated from Palm Beach School of Real Estate in Juno Beach, Fl.
Skills:
1982-1985-Published and Edited my own publication called Single Monthly.
1984-2000-co-hosted local tv show called: The Here and Now Show
1991-1995-received "Female Singer of the Year" award from Jacksonville's Entertainment Club.
1992-1998-Worked for The American Cancer's Society Bag Day, singing in various grocery stores for fund raisers.
1995-1997-Directed shows at the JCA-Jewish Community Alliance
1998-Rec'd. "Educator of the Year" award from the American Diabets Association,local chapter.
1999-Author of The Magical Flower, a short story for children that was made into an orignal ballet from a local dance company. It was presented for 3 consecutive nights at local college.
2008-2011-author of several children's stories, one self-help book and one cookbook.
