I have more than 10 years of formulation development experience. I have authored more than 15 patents and patent applications, 7 articles in peer reviewed journals, and more than 10 abstracts at conferences. I have also been a key contributor to development of the following new technologies:

• The CorplexTM formulation technology used in Proctor and Gamble’s Crest WhitestripR Advanced Seal tooth whitening product as well as a platform for mucosal drug delivery.
• MicroCorTM technology (Corium International, Inc.) - bio-absorbable microneedle arrays integrated into devices for painless systemic delivery of drug molecules via the skin.

 Proactively engaged in all facets of development for both contract and proprietary products, from concept and plan development to pre-formulation/formulation, analytical investigations and product implementation.
 Designed and executed experiments providing basis for sound technical and product decisions.
 Trained junior scientists, engineers and associates on execution of essential processes and manufacturing steps.
 Wrote production documents, such as WIs (Work Instructions), SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and MPCRs (Master Production and Control Records); evaluated vendors and initiated patent applications and prepared reports.

 Spearheaded the development of formulation for a propriety “Corplex” technology. Educated a research group regarding the framework of cooperative agreement between TIPS and Corium International Inc.
 Successfully led early stage formulation enhancement and feasibility studies for OTC products, such as teeth whitening strip and gel, wound care anti-microbial film dressing, foot care patch, film forming liquid bandage, transdermal patch and oral transmucosal dosage in both solid film and gel forms.
