From February 22, 1988 to August 30, 2010 I have been employed by Frito-Lay. I began my career as a route salesman and in 1999 transitioned to the District Manager role. In that role I was responsible for the sales operation of all accounts within my territory. My responsibilities included coaching, training and providing feedback to route sales representatives, staffing, meeting monthly sales goals, preparing reports, leading monthly meetings, and tending to all required administrative duties. My primary job, however, was teaching route sales representatives how to win in the market place.
