Objective:
I am a Commercial/Industrial Foreman Electrician & Level II Traffic Signal Technician with over 16 years experience in the field. I am looking for a permanent position in the commercial/industrial electrical field and am primarily interested in furthering my career along the lines of traffic signal specialization. I am looking for a position that will allow me to use my knowledge and skills to full capacity and maximize achievement potential in my field.


Experience:
Install, repair, and retrofit electrical and electronic components in traffic signals & components, highway & overhead sign lighting, luminares, as well as commercial/industrial electrical applications (e.g., building panels & lighting, wiring & running conduit, etc.). Troubleshooting & maintaining traffic signals, communication equipment, flasher systems, highway lighting/luminares, electronics, commercial/industrial electrical, & solar arrays. Inspects new installations of electrical contractors and assures compliance with electrical codes. Tests, programs, and wires new traffic signal cabinets, and burn the conflict monitor cards. Designing, building, programming, & installing pre-emption strobe relay boards. Operate the following equipment: bucket trucks; scissor lifts; boom lifts; forklifts; offroad boom forklifts; backhoes; and trenchers. Supervises electrical & technical staff and coordinates electrical assignments. Hires, assigns and evaluates staff. Approves purchases, stop work orders, plan changes, etc. for the successful achievement of project goals in a cost effective, timely manner.

High School Diploma 1994, 1 year of college at Gateway Community College (course of study electrical), Electrical Apprenticeship through Arizona Independent Electrical Contractors Association (AIECA), IMSA Traffic Signal Technician Certification I

IMSA Workzone Certification
