Objective:
My Objective is to work for a healthcare company who is compassionate and strives to be the best at what they do. To utilize my professional, educational and personal skills and to be given the opportunity to challenge my abilities and utilize my experience to the fullest.
Experience:
I began volunteering with the Easter Seal Society of WA, eventually becoming employed by them for seven years, working with individuals with physical, emotional and developmental disabilities. I have done in home care, specializing in those with Cerebral Palsy and Autism. I have been employed in Nursing care and Rehab facilities. I have been a Milieu counselor for Juvenile Sex Offenders for HealthSouth Behavioral Hospital. I was a stay at home mother to my daughter for five years, returning to school to continue my education.
Education:
I completed and graduated with my High School diploma in 1995. I graduated and completed over 1800 volunteer community service hours with the AmeriCorp National Civilian Community Corp in 1998. I graduated from Central New Mexico Community college with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and have completed and graduated with a certification in the EMT Basic Program.
Skills:
I have an enormous amount of compassion in what i do, whatever that may be, i have excellent customer service skills and consider myself diligent and extremely hard working. I am amazingly organized and pride myself on fully completing tasks and researching and finding answers if i do not know them. I enjoy working with others and can either be a leader or a team player.
Additional Information:
I am passionate about the medical field and look forward to beginning my career in emergency medicine and gaining valuable experience in order to continue and pursue higher goals in the field.
