- Oversee Corporate HR activities for a state wide healthcare organization
- Oversee all aspects of hiring, firing, orientation and disciplinary actions for all offices
- Manage all aspects of payroll and HRIS input
- Administer 401K reporting and submission to third-party plan administrator
- Manage all Health Care and Supplemental benefits open enrollments, renewals and employee input
- Research compensation analysis figures to stay competitive
- Review and administer training and development for all PIP for every discipline within the company
- Provide training and development to different branches regarding sexual harassment, customer service, succession planning and/or any other related topic as needed
- Designed and implemented Corporate handbook and policies and procedures
Review and monitor all aspects of A/P invoices and check requests to ensure proper payment via check, wire transfers or ACH payments
- Month end reconciliation
- Prepare analysis of accounts to determine budget performance
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries as needed
- Ensure property taxes and business licenses are completed
- Handle all insurance (property, general, liability) renewals every year
- Correspond with Corporate accountant to ensure month end financials are updated as needed (code any adjustments as needed)
- Monitor bank accounts to ensure we have received payment from Medicare, Medicaid and all private insurance companies
- Supervise billing specialists to ensure all Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurances have been billed in a timely manner
- Analyze report data to ensure proper booking of A/R
- Oversee Human Resource, Student Financial Services, Facilities, and Finance/Accounting Office for Atlanta division
- Develop budgets for each department and work with President of School to submit to Corporate for review
- Correspond with each department about budget limitations and cuts and determine where and how the cuts will be administered
- Serve on Executive Leadership Board to determine strategic plans for upcoming program roll-outs, budget reviews, student retention and recruitment and all other aspects of operating the institution
- Work with President to ensure profit margins were met according to goals that were set by Corporate
- Oversee all aspects of HR for Atlanta location including payroll
- Responsible for recruiting and staffing
- Responsible for all employee orientation, training and development and employee retention
- Assist in labor relations for all staff, to include tenured professors needing sabbaticals and/or grievance procedures
- Ensure all policies and procedures are in compliance with law and all reporting is submitted in a timely manner
- Responsible for compensation and all benefits administration
- Served as a member of the leadership committee for the entire college
