Hardworking and motivated with a professional attitude in all work done. Seeking long term employment; preferably, full time work, 1st shift. I am skillful in prep work concerning exterior/interior painting, drywall finishing; plaster repair and patchwork, and woodworking; restoring wood projects. I have experience in these fields of over 10 years working as a subcontractor for a self-employed contractor in the Greater Cincinnati area.


Plaster Repair

Flat taping with paper tape and mesh tape when needed on drywall and plaster surfaces.
Installing insulation.
Sanding with orbital sanders, hand sand paper, and sanding sponges.
Wallpaper removal/ cleaning and prepping walls.
Spot priming.
Rolling walls and ceilings.
Cutting in/applying coats of paint with a brush/cutting in trim work.
Hanging trim.
Measuring and cutting to appropriate size the drywall.
Using a hammer, screw gun, tape measure, t-square, trowels, and finish knifes.
Using drop cloths.

Restoring wood projects; windows, trim, furniture, tables.
Cleaning, sanding, removing old finishes on woodwork.
Gluing and clamping wood pieces when needed.
Filling nail and screw holes appropriate amount of times needed.
Staining wood with the desired stains by brush.
Tack clothing in between coats to ensure professional finish.
Brushing lacquer and polyeurathane finishes with a brush.
Sanding between coats with correct grit of sandpaper.
Using orbital sander when needed.
Using routers, hand saws, screw guns, drills.
Drilling pilot holes and countersinking screws.
Assembling project when completed and installing if needed.
Using drop cloths.
Hanging drywall

Reading a tape measure correctly.
Using a drywall hammer, utility knife, rasp, router, drywall saw, and chalk line.
Measuring and cutting boards to the needed size to ensure the least amount of finish work needed.
Hanging wallboard by nailing and screwing.
Hanging corner bead.
General cleanup.
Using drop cloths.
Finishing drywall

Applying 1st coats of Durabond and all purpose compound.
Mesh taping when needed.
Flat taping.
Skim coating.
Using drop cloths to keep a clean area.
Sanding finished areas and prepping to paint with hand sanding poles and sanding sponges for corners.


Interior/exterior painting.
Cleaning areas to be painted.
Using drop cloths at all times.
Priming with exterior/interior primer.
Rolling interior walls and ceilings.
Cutting in corners and trim with a brush.
Cleaning molded areas before applying any paint to ensure mold is dead.
Attaching exterior trim, siding, tongue and groove that has been stained and sealed, and shingles.
Filling nail and screw holes prior to finish coats.
Building out spots where wood needs restored when it can be salvaged.
Making sure shingles and all pieces are securely attached.
Sanding with hand sand paper and orbital sander.
Using a nail gun
Cleaning gutters and flashing.

Cleaning decks and coating

Cleaning and prepping decks to seal with finish.
Scrubbing and cleaning the wood to be sealed.
Sweeping areas.
Applying stain/finish coats with a brush.
Sandblasting areas when needed.
Killing all molded areas.

General clean up work/ prep work

Plaster repair.
Moving appliances.
Cleaning out apartments.
Sweeping and mopping.
Removing old wallboard.
Priming and painting.
Sanding drywall surfaces and wood surfaces to be finished.
Restoring old shudders.
Interior/exterior painting.
