Objective:
At this time I am seeking a position which will get me back in the lab running experiments. Before being laid off from my recent position in Quality at Caliper Life Sciences I was focused on lab automation, a new skill that compliments my background in assay development. It has been a valuable learning experience; but one that has made me miss hands on experimenting.

Create and execute application based test plans for lab automation software and liquid handlers as part of development lifecycle.
Product Test Scientist

• Develop and recommend test strategies to verify the product performance and functionality and provide suggestions for future upgrades.
• Design, document, execute test procedures; and isolate failures for R&D to address. Identify discrepancies between the product’s design specifications and the Product Test Plan.
• Debug complex issues and performs fault investigation on reported defects to determine root cause. Work closely with engineering to ensure proper resolution of anomalies.
• Provide feedback on user interface design from a customer perspective.
• Provide regular test status reports during the Project schedule. Complete the required final test reports necessary for release of the Product.
• Coordinate testing with outsourced company (train, prioritize, troubleshoot and communicate progress to project team).

Worked as a team member in two dynamic groups, utilized Luminex’s xMAPฎ technology as well as BAC clone aCGH.
