Objective:
Being affected by a nationwide reduction in force I am now looking to take my work experience to another company to prove what I can do. My expertise in cost reductions and negotiating will prove to be critical skills to carry your business through these dicey economic times.

After the reduction in force at Beazer I have been asked to return as a business consultant. I will be doing consultant work in the area of negotiating and cost reductions. After my contract is up with Beazer I am going to be expanding this consulting work to other companies.

In the five years that I was employed at Beazer I went from the entry level field position to being a member of the senior management operations team. The titles that I held while employed with Beazer were:

Customer Care Field Rep, Water Intrusion Rep, Superintendent, Special Projects Supervisor, Customer Care Manager, Estimating Manager and Purchasing Manager (some positions were held at the same time)

Being in multiple positions I have learned most every aspect of running a large construction company. Everything from diagnosing problems in the field, handling homeowner and dealing with legal issues. On the purchasing end I was personally responsible for ensuring SOX controls were met, setting budgets and ensuring they were met, negotiating and heavy cost reductions just to mention a few of the responsibilities.



2000-2003 Midwest Specialty Products Kissimmee, FL
Sales Manager

Sales including; developing new business, maintaining current relationships, working trade shows and working at large plants to trouble shoot production issues.
Customers included; Groliers, Readers Digest, Rand McNally, Quebecor and various other book manufacturers.
1997-2000 Superior Lawn Care Lexington, KY
Owner

Ran a successful Lawn Care company with employees. This business was sold in 2000 when the offer came to be sales Manager for Midwest Specialty Products.
This experience taught me very valuable lessons on what it takes to run and grow a profitable business. I have used the experience I gained here to grow very quickly with the other companies I have worked for by showing that I can be a leader within their organization, always looking for ways to improve their business.



Other Employment

Some of the other jobs that I held growing up were in commercial construction and lawn care.
