Objective:

• Developing correlation models between fungal volatile metabolites and mycotoxin production / concentration. HPLC-DAD, LC-MS and GC-MS trouble shooting and method development. Electronic nose maintenance and method development. Sample preparation by solid phase extraction (SPE) and liquid extraction (LE). Data analysis by multivariate statistics (chemometrics), using Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Partial Least Squares (PLS) and Soft Independent Modeling of Class Analogy (SIMCA).
• Technology transfer to co-workers via presentations, lectures and hands on teaching in the laboratory.
• Culture cultivation of fungal culture cultivation on laboratory media and food/feed.
• Documentation by Advanced use of Windows® based software such as the MS Office package and basic Windows® trouble shooting.
