Hire Power, Inc., Recruiter Feb 2007 – present (Pittsburgh, PA)
Owner and recruiter for a legal placement firm. Full cycle recruitment including cold-calling candidates and clients to fill positions solely in law firm environments, primarily in the Maryland, DC and Northern Virginia region. Place staff of all levels from attorneys to office services. Emphasis on permanent hire, with minimal temporary staffing. Senior Recruiter for a legal placement firm. Within 2 months of hire in DC, promoted to become Branch Manager of a brand-new Rockville office. Managed team of up to 6 recruiters, including hiring, mentoring, training, dismissing staff. Grew new office to become quite successful and self-supporting within first year. Received numerous awards including Top Rookie of the Year. Also won awards almost every month for two years as “top producer”.
