I am a recently divorced mother of 4 grown children. I was very fortunate to be able to be a full time homemaker for most of my 30 year marriage. I supplemented the family income with various part time employment as an activities worker for several nursing homes in the Ohio area, and also as a church organist/pianist. Until recently I had been taking care of my elderly mother in Iowa, who is now in a nursing home. I have enjoyed nurturing my children and their friends over the years, as well as the folks in the nursing homes. I also work part time as a professional pianist for a major department store and as a piano teacher of children. My interests include music, sewing, reading, cooking, baking.

In the past, I volunteered for many activities associated with my children's schools. I was a room mother, tutor and chaperone for many field trips. Presently I am a volunteer piano teacher for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. I also enjoy playing the piano for various area nursing homes.
