Objective:
I have a french national, with 30 years of experience in international trade and business ( Africa, Europe, Eastern Europe, Japan, China,Middle East ).

My last assignment started in Feb 2005 in Miami, to help a french cosmetics manufacturer to set up a distribution network. With only 4 weeks notice, I organized my business in Paris to be carried on, and accepted the venture, without any prior knowledge of the US market and US consumership.
So far, I set up a US LLC in Florida, launched 2 vending websites, opened a boutique/showroom near downtown Miami, and negitiated a TV commercial + a radio advertising campaign.

My skills include total flexibility in any environment and under any severe conditions. Relocation is possible anywhere if the job is worth the challemge.

I have an efficient charisma and selfcontrol to overcome any difficulties when running negotiations.
I am used to contacts with all ethnies, through years of trading with african clients, middle eastern businessmen, and asian companies in the environmental or technology sectors.

My clients as well as my suppliers still remember and appreciate doing business with me, even 20 years later.

I can handle negotiations at any level , from a warehousekeeper to a Government Member on duty.

I usually accept only the jobs I like, which is the absolute first condition to devote one's self to a complex task.

I like the mixture of cultures and the crosslinks between different ethnies.

Without any prior experience in the USA consumers market, I set up the Miami based company for a french cosmetics manufacturer, developed the distribution network, apoointed an agent in New York, negotiated a lease for a showroom/retail store near Downtown Miami, supervised the restoration and design of the shop, and alla dministrative procedures. I negotiated a cable TV commercial campaugn and a Radio commercial campaign to start in August 07. I negotiated a partnership with a french supplier of perfumes and make-up items to have joint efforts of distribution and marketing.

I was in charge of the business development for this company owned by a Nigerian businessman who had an active account with Peugeot Automobile France, and benefited from a supply contract to Peugeot Automobile factory in Nigeria.
My responsibilities included all negotiations on behalf of the nigerian partner, with the european suppliers of technical material, production equipment, spare parts, etc...
The recent achievement was to negotiate a joint-venture with a russian client, in order to fund the french company and start a triangular business line France / Russia / Nigeria

I decide to resign by end of 2007, in order to fully devote myself to the US opportunities

This was a company I started, in partnership with a Nigerian company.
I exploited my good connections in the Automobile aftermarket sector to help getting profitable supply contracts.
In 1994, I got, after weeks of tough negotiations with NESTLE-SWITZERLAND, an exclusive contract for NESCAFE supplies to RUMANIA ( at that time, still a communist country ). In only one year, through a joint-venture I set-up in Geneva with a romanian businessman, we were able to multiply the previous Nescafe turnover in Rumania by 6 !!!

We eventually lost the contract when NESTLE decided to start producing in Rumania, 2 years later.

From !998 to 2000 I managed a contract with a french industrial supplier of Peugeot Automobile, involving the renewal of all the painting platforms, machinery and equipment at the production plant in Nigeria. The contract was for several million USD, and had very severe terms from Peugeot Automobile Nigeria. I had to cope with a very strict timetable for onsite deliveries, and very "fluctuant" cooperation from the french industrial supplier, with recurrent problems of shortages, or delivery delays to solve.

I was also involved in managing shiploads of rice supply to Nigeria, involving negotiations with International Commodities Merchants, and Chartered Shipping Lines.
