Objective:
Since 1978 I have been involved in providing customer service at the highest levels. My backgrounds in both restaraunt and air traffic have required me to put forth maximum effort to achieve customer satisfaction. AMASS liason/training specialist: One of a team of local representatives involved in National program to install new safety software and equipment. Only team member involved from start to finish and to attend all meetings and training. Three year program involved several travel assignments. One of two local instructors charged with training approximitaley 50 controllers, supervisors and managers.
Local Union Officer: Served local NATCA, (National Air Traffic Controller's Association) as President, VP, Secretaty, Treasurer and safety representative over the course of my career. Duties included negotiations, research, scheduling & recording meetings, filing of Dept. of Labor forms, keeping accurate membership & financial records, conducting elections, and coordinating travel and attending Union regional and national conventions. While safety/tech representive, I was involved with testing of new flight plan/weather/ATIS equipment at the FAA's Atlantic City research facility.
Local Facility Advisory Board, Procedures committee, Evaluator: These various funtions involved researching suggestions for improvements to both the working environment and improving air traffic procedures. I was on the committee for contruction of the current IAH control tower, circa 1997. I also played a significant role in developing procedures for a second ground control position. While at Hobby ATCT, 1989-1994, I served as an evaluator for training and certification of controllers.

Associated Hosts, dba Smuggler's Inn in Bloomington, IL
April 1983 to December 1983
Served as night manager in this high volume restaurant/night club. General manager was hospitalized during my second week. During the assignment of a temporary GM, I was able to fullfill my duties independantly saving the company from having to send a second temporary manager to complete my training.

Responsible for all personnel decisions and assignments as well as cost and quality controls in this high volume establishment. Property was eventually sold for other commercial development.

I trained in an extreme high volume environment in Rantoul, IL. While an associate manager there, we set numerous company records for sales, volume, and productivity, all while maintaining one of the company's best safety records. This high volume delivery service often involved coordination with military police for access to the base where most of our cutomers resided. While with this company, I recieved my first training in cost control, quality control of both product and service and profit/loss statements.
