Job Description:

Support military base operations as a working civilian in combat or war zones. Spray chemical solutions or dusts powders in rooms and work areas. Places poisonous paste or bait and mechanical traps where pests are present. Clean areas that harbor pests using rakes, brooms, shovels, and mops preparatory to fumigating. Inspect site areas on a regular basis for general pest activity. Administrative record keeping, seasonal trend tracking, and materials inventory control. Educate personnel on disease vector concerns, field sanitation, and hygiene. Coordinate vector control efforts with client designated Preventive Health Liaison. Inspect, maintain and maintenance equipment as required. Respond to emergency service requests to remove poisonous reptiles and feral animals. Required to hold and maintain a current state license or DOD equivalency as proof of competency.

Job Description:

Utilize crane assets on off shore platforms and lift barges for movement of personnel, equipment, and vessel supplies. Rig equipment to crane by use of slings, cargo straps or stingers, and apply tag lines for equipment control and safe handling procedures. Provide vessel maintenance to diesel generators, diesel main engines, hydraulic and PTO systems, planetary gear systems, and corrosion control. Operate GPS and LORAN systems while underway and monitor bulkheads for hull breach and incoming water. Serve as Helmsman to relieve Captain and pilot sea faring vessels of 100 tons or more during periods of extended travel.

Offshore crane operation and safety, limit to 100 tons.
Crane rigger safety and competency
OSHA regulatory training phases 1 and 2
Fire safety and prevention
Poisonous gasses and confined spaces training.
Registered member of the Petroleum Education Commission of Lafayette LA.(PEC)
Certified pesticide applicator for the state of Alabama and Tennessee since March 2000.
Completed course of instruction on first aid, CPR, and electrical injury awareness.

SKILLS:

Proficient in the following:
