Objective: Educate dog owners on a variety of aspects about their canine companions; from basic training, to management, diet, health, and how to effectively communitcate with their dog.
Experience: Upon completion of the Animal Behavior College canine obedience instructor program, I was hired by Marilyn Marks, owner of The Good Dog spot in March of 2005 after completing an internship assisting and observing her classes. Seeing great potential she hired me as daycare attendant. In June of 2005 I started doing private lessons, as well as teaching group classes. I was also responsible for the care of and training of 30-45 daycare dogs. In January of 2007 I was promoted to Trainig program manager. My other responsiblities included janitorial/sanitizing work, conduct interviews with potential clients to observe compatability with a daycare enviroment, client relations, establishing relationships with pet stores and vets in the area, develop, implement and maintain training programs for The Good Dog Spot, and opening and closing duties.
Education: Diploma with high honors Enfield High School 1999 Certificate, Animal Behavioral College March 2005 with honors
Skills: Ability to supervise 45 dogs, fluent in canine body lanuage, positive trainer, understanding of canine learning theory,experience working with aggressive dogs
