I started at Heartland as a receptionist. My duties included answering a multi line phone system, Helping clients with their questions, receiving payment for services rendered. I was also in charge of sending out weekly vaccine reminder cards to our clients. I also typed letters for the Veterinarians. I worked with the Puppy Daycare at the office by helping house trail and teaching basic skills. I soon moved up in the office to become a Veterinary assistant working mainly with surgery. I prepared animals for surgery , monitered the animals during and after surgery. I also worked in the exam room assisting the doctors with client exams. I greatly enjoyed my time with this company.
