The People Ready, Located Kitchener, ON, Canada is currently hiring Electrician
PeopleReady is now hiring experienced 309A Electricians to join the construction team for an industry leader in Renewable Energy Systems. You will be installing underground services for our systems, installing service equipment, and system equipment. From time to time, you will be working along with the Integration Team to finalize the system installation.
Job Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
• Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with appropriate codes (e.g., Canadian Electrical Code)
• Inspecting electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
• Training apprentices and/or coworkers
• Recommending job improvements and alternative methods (problem solving)
Qualifications and Experience:
• 309A License
• 1-3 yrs. experience
• Driver’s License in good standing
• Must be able to work independently or in a team
• Able to read blueprints/schematics
• Able to oversee projects
