Job Description:
The Central Susquehanna IU (CSIU) is accepting applications for a full-time position working 250 days per year primarily in the Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center, Lewisburg.
The Practical Nursing Program Instructor works with career center staff to plan, deliver, and participate in the evaluation of the practical nursing program curriculum. The instructor also supervises students in the clinical, laboratory, and classroom settings. In addition, develops and implements course outlines, lesson plans, tests and examination to meet the academic and behavioral objectives to the practical nursing program.
Salary = $55,000 to $65,000 dependent on education and qualifications. Excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance; retirement options including Pennsylvania Public School Employees Retirement System (PSERS) and life insurance options.
Job Requirements:
Education, skills and experience requirements include:
• Graduation from an approved school of professional nursing with a minimum of Master’s Degree, preferably in nursing. Will consider a Bachelor’s degree with a commitment to complete a Master’s degree.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in PA.
• Experience and skill in the practice of nursing; nursing experience involving direct patient care or teaching experience within two (2) years of employment.
• Evidence of maintaining expertise in clinical and functional areas of responsibility.
