Job Description:
Landscaping Supervisor
West British Gardening & Landscaping Ltd. located in North Vancouver, BC is looking for 2 Landscaping Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible.
Job Duties:
Supervise workers involved in maintaining lawns, gardens, parks and landscaped areas;
Estimate and order materials, equipment and supplies;
Set, monitor and follow up on daily/ weekly goals and deadlines;
Plan workforce requirement for individual contracts;
Complete on site take offs for material management;
Establish work schedules and procedures to be implemented
May organize and direct construction of fences, decks and walls;
May hire and train new workers;
Resolve issues, prepare progress reports and keep track of finances;
Other duties as requested by the management.
Requirements:
Completion of college diploma or industrial training in landscaping or horticulture with at least 1 year of experience in the field is required.
OR
Completion of secondary school with more than 2 years of experience in landscaping or horticulture field is required.
Class 5 license is an asset but not a requirement
Job Location: All over lower mainlands according to contracts
Salary: $30.00/hr. for 40hrs/week
