Job Description:

Assemble new and update existing metal cutting & forming machinery systems including mechanical assemblies and complicated mechanisms.
*** Read and interpret engineering prints, electrical schematics, manufacturing manuals, and verbal and written instructions for Mills & Lathes
*** Position, erect, align, level; position sub-assemblies, units, and separate components and integrate their operations; performs fitting, aligning, timing, calibrating, and other operations incidental to the mechanical assembly of the machine.
*** Use a variety of hand and power tools, including hammers, screwdrivers, wire cutters, drills, etc.
*** Use a variety of precision measuring and gauging instruments e.g. scale, calipers, etc., to inspect and verify conformance of parts to specifications.
*** Build electrical controls, adjustable motor drives, conveyors, multi axis motion mechanisms, and switchgears.
*** Assist customers with in-plant Acceptance Tests of their machines.
*** Train customer personnel in operation and maintenance of the machine.
