Job Description:
Opportunity for a machining expert to lead the programming, setup and operation of CNC mills, lathes, drills and grinders for a custom precision machining of tooling, parts and molds.
Shall:
*** Complete set-ups
*** Optimize CNC programs to meet product specifications such as dimensions, material requirements, tolerances and tooling.
*** Select appropriate tools and fixtures
*** Determine proper machine speeds and feeds.
*** Troubleshoot malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining
*** Create set up sheets to ensure repeatability and consistency
Requires:
*** Associate's Degree or equivalent
*** Hands on CNC machine tool programming and set up experience.
*** MasterCAM, Solidworks or similar experience.
