Job Description:
Amex Doors and Moulding Ltd. is looking for one Carpenter for their business located at 105-13112 84 Ave, Surrey, BC V3W 1L2. This position is full time permanent with 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
As a Carpenter, you would be performing the following job duties:
-Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
-Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
-Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
-Prepare and design mouldings and doors.
-Fit and install trim items, such as doors, moulding and hardware
-Maintain, repair and renovate doors and mouldings in residences and other commercial establishments.
-Interpret client requests and provide mock-ups for clients to approve prior to commencing work.
-Prepare cost estimates for clients
-Install Doors and molding
Number of positions: 1

-$28.00 per hour
-4% vacation pay
