Job Description:
Park Cities Pools is expanding and looking for motivated individuals to join our Pool Service Team for a Year Round Position, with plenty of opportunity for future growth. This is a subcontractor position.
Excellent Pay; $15.50 per pool to start, with first evaluation at 90 days.
We provide a longer period of training than most pool service companies because we care about you and about our customers and insist on sending only well trained individuals into our customer’s back yards.
We have a Smaller Service Area than most companies, and so our pools are closer together. You won’t spend a lot of time looking at your windshield. You’ll spend that time On the Job, Making Money.
This Job Requires You To:
Be Independent: You must be able to motivate yourself to do a good job on every pool every day. Your performance will be observed and you will receive regular feedback, but this is a very independent position and you must be able to work alone efficiently.
Have a Mechanical Aptitude: You will have to operate switches, valves, pumps and filters, and use hand tools.
Work Outdoors: You MUST be able to work in extreme heat or cold, wet, dry, and even icy conditions. There is no indoor work here. You will be outside all the time.
Work Hard: Pool service requires you to carry all of your tools and supplies poolside for each servicing. The ability to load/unload 50 to 100 lbs. containers on/off your truck is required. Most of the chemicals you will use are in 50 lbs. and 100 lbs. containers.
Get Along With Our Customers and their Families: You must be a friendly, neat appearing person who is comfortable with dogs – especially dogs – and children, and be a person who always remembers that we are in our customer’s home while we are doing our job.
We will provide a career ladder for the right individuals. Spend some time servicing a pool route with us, and prove to us you have what it takes to learn more, and there will be a path to learning scheduled maintenance tasks, such as filter cleans and automatic cleaner repairs. With more time, this will lead to mechanical and plumbing repair training under the supervision of our Texas State licensed repair personnel.
Too, you will learn computer timekeeping, inventory control, and water chemistry analysis to help you become an expert in this industry.
Job Requirements:
Must Have Your Own Truck and Smart Phone and be able to file weekly time sheet submissions in Excel (we will teach you how & it can be done on any smart phone).
You must be at least 21 years old and have a Clean DMV Record.
