Electrician
High watt electric ltd located at 7853 Suncrest Dr, Surrey, BC V3W 6A8 is looking to hire 2 Electricians
Salary: $28.00 hourly/ 40 hours per week
Position: Fulltime/Permanent
Education: High School
Language: English
Work Location: Various locations in lower mainland British Columbia
Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Duties:
• Install underground wiring and cables
• Install, replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes, Splice, join and connect wires
• Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults
• Connect power to audio and visual equipment
• Install surface mount and/or overhead cables
• Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
• Keep maintenance reports and documentation
• Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations
• Estimate costs and materials
Skills and experience:
Completion of a four- to five-year apprenticeship program OR High School with 2 to 3 Years of experience
