Job Description:
Work with internal staff, vendors and suppliers to ensure appropriate product availability based on customer demand and company policy. Ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints and that purchasing activities follow all applicable laws and regulations. Analyze customer demand, ordering patterns and inventory stock levels in relation to demand. Analyze forecast and product life cycle reports to study customer demand and identify potential customer impact activity. Review purchase orders for proper authorization and compliance with company policy and procedures. Study and analyze price proposals, purchasing and inventory data, financial reports and other data to set prices. Work with relevant internal departments to manage inventory requirements. Maintain adequate inventory levels on long lead and standard items. Research and assist in resolving receiving and inventory issues. Review anomaly reports and analyze trends; review reports daily for orders that may cause production and inventories to go out of balance. Elevate issues with inventory, orders, non-conformance and production/shipping in a timely and appropriate manner to ensure suitable actions are taken. Responsible for communication between all US and Asian personnel and vendors regarding production and shipment needs. Identify, source and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors in the U.S. and Asia. Manage vendor and supplier selection process by price, quality, support, availability, capacity and reliability. Ensure vendors and suppliers maintain/meet KPI for On-Time Delivery in full metric and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Create, negotiate and administer purchasing agreements with vendors and suppliers. Measure and manage the vendor and supplier cost, quality and delivery performance. Participate and lead continuous improvement of purchasing processes.

Requirements: Bachelorís degree in business/materials or operations management/related field and 6 months of experience in job offered or related purchasing, supply chain, inventory/materials management occupation analyzing customer/market/sales/purchasing/materials/inventory/supply chain data
